Adventure baths, sauna village & swimming with penguins - Lübbenau's Spreewelten offer a unique bathing experience in the heart of the Spreewald.
In the outside area of Spreewelten, visitors have the unique opportunity to race against genuine Humboldt penguins. The heated outside pool is only separated from the penguin pool by a glass window. Show feeds are held every day at 11.00 a.m. and 3.30 p.m.
In the inside area, children and adults can conquer the 118 metre giant slide as well as overcome the white-water canal and the wave pool. The whirlpool and the healing salt water from the Roman thermal baths offer relaxation.
Sauna village in Spreewelten
A further feature of the Lübbenau Spreewelten is the unique sauna world with its 14 saunas which each reflect a different regional theme. A swing in the gherkin sauna, Spreewald myths in the Lutki cave and lovingly carved woodwork in the living-room are just some of the highlights worth mentioning. Even the rest periods become a real Spreewald adventure as the outside area is reminiscent of a typical Spreewald farmstead with its own boat jetty and a sun-bathing meadow directly on the Spreewald stream. If you want to experience the wellness programme, you can book additional massage and wellness treatments.
After a day spent in Spreewelten, you can see out the day in the "Baldura" Penguin Restaurant. In the adventure restaurant forming part of the pool, guests can follow the penguins' journeys into the Spreewald. Meals are served directly to the rocky shore of Tierra del Fuego or on board of an old sailing ship.
