Lake holidays in the Spreewald

Lake Schwielochsee northwest of Lieberose is the largest natural lake in Brandenburg. The lake offers water sports enthusiasts and nature lovers the best conditions for an active or recreational holiday not far from Berlin. Spend your holiday by the water, directly on the Leichhardt shore at the largest nature campsite or in a holiday home by the lake and explore the UNESCO Spreewald Biosphere Reserve in just a few minutes.

In Goyatz on Lake Schwielochsee you can rent sailing, rowing and motor boats. Anglers can obtain fishing permits at the campsite. At the bathing spots on the lake you will find peace and relaxation in nature.

To the south of Lake Schwieloch, Lake Großer Mochowsee is a natural bathing lake that not only impresses with its clarity, but also with the adjoining campsite with lido. The Großer Mochowsee is particularly ideal for holidays with children during the summer holidays. In addition to camping on the lake, you will also find family-friendly holiday homes by the lake.

Take your children on a discovery tour on the nature trail along the lakeshore and go on excursions by boat or by bike. The children can play in the playground or in the water and barbecues in nature are a great way to end the day.

Located in the former open-cast mining area, Lake Gräbendorf to the north-east of Altdöbern is characterised by its bathing water quality as well as its sandy beach and sunbathing lawns. Divers also get their money's worth here: Germany's only diving school floating on an open-cast mining lake is located on Gräbendorfer See. In addition, the floating houseboats near Laasow are particularly popular during the summer holidays. Here families spend their holidays on the water with a beautiful lake view.

Lake Briesen with its wonderful sandy beach near Neu Zauche, Lake Groß Leuthen east of Schlepzig, Lake Köthener in Märkisch Buchholz and Lake Neuendorf near Alt-Schadow also score points for excellent water quality. Please only use the officially designated bathing spots here.

Lake Hindenberg and Lake Schönfeld near Lübbenau were created by open-cast mining. At Hindenberger See you will find a nature camping site and a restaurant with a bowling alley.
