Hiking through the Nowy Circuit near Burg

Your hiking boots are on and your rucksack is strapped on? Then you're ready to start your hike on the Nowy Rundweg.

Via a small path along the Mühlspree you come to Wendenkönigstraße 9, which is not to be missed - because here you can visit the Dziumbla traditional costume embroidery and marvel at an extensive collection of Wendish traditional costumes.

The hotel "Zur Bleiche Resort & Spa", a former linen weaver's factory, attracts visitors with its own country spa - spa treatments are also available here! Enjoy wellness in the Spreewald before continuing on to the namesakes of this hike, the Nowy family, which is one of the oldest farming families in Burg (Spreewald). History says that in 1845 Friedrich Nowy settled here from Burg-Dorf - he planted three oaks as a sign of his new beginning, one of which is still preserved, the "Nowy Oak". On the Nowy homestead is the 200-year-old gallery stable building, which was dismantled and moved from Burg-Dorf.

Continue in the direction of the town centre, past the "Radlerscheune" along Bahnhofstraße, until you reach the "Alte Spreewaldbahnhof", an adventure restaurant. Done!
