7 B&B: Bike tour along industrial monuments of lignite mining
From the Lusatian metropolis of Cottbus, you will cycle into newly designed post-mining landscapes and marvel at impressive industrial monuments of lignite mining such as the steel F60 conveyor bridge in Lichterfeld, also known as the "Lying Eiffel Tower" because of its enormous dimensions.
By the way, the miners say with a wink: "The good Lord created Lusatia and the devil hid the coal - but we found it..." (Total length approx. 320 km, with daily stages of 30 - 65 km).
