White South Sea beaches, crystal-clear water, exotic plants & Caribbean shows - a tropical holiday feel in the heart of Brandenburg.
Tropical Islands lies 50 km south of Berlin and 25 km north of the Spreewald. The dome which was once built as an airship hangar today houses Europe's largest tropical adventure and sauna world. White sandy beach, turquoise-blue water, exotic tropical plants and a temperature of 26 degrees spread a Caribbean holiday feel in the heart of Brandenburg.
Tropical world of adventure
The waterworlds at Tropical Islands include the 28 degree South Sea with its 200 m sandy beach, the enchanted lagoon with grotto, waterfall and whirlpool as well as the 27 m high water slide tower. An adventure trail leads through the world's largest tropical indoor rainforest with exotic plants and animals such as turtles, flamingos, peacocks and pheasants.
Sauna & Spa
The sauna complex in Tropical Islands comprises seven exotic saunas and steam baths which will transport visitors and guests to faraway worlds, such as the stone sauna in the Angkor Wat Temple, the herbal sauna in the Inipi Steam Cabin or the Gunung-Mulu Salt Grotto.
Special infusions with little show interludes occur at regular intervals in the Tropical Islands saunas. Hawaiian, Polynesian and oriental massages can also be individually booked.
