The Spreewald Tourism Association is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continuously improve usability for all and apply the appropriate accessibility standards.

This digital accessibility statement applies to the website(s) or mobile application(s) of the Spreewald Tourism Association published at www.spreewald.de.

We strive to make our website(s) and/or mobile application(s) accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Brandenburg Equal Opportunities for Disabled Persons Act (BbgBGG) and the Brandenburg Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BbgBITV) implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102. According to § 2 BbgBITV, web presences and apps are assumed to be accessible if the requirements of the harmonised European Standard (EN) 301 549 (in the current version) are met. EN 301 549 refers to the requirements of the international standard of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) with conformance levels A and AA. These requirements form the core of the testable success criteria.

the Enforcement Body for Digital Accessibility of the State of Brandenburg to review the information and measures mentioned in the Accessibility Statement. Pursuant to § 4 para. 3 BbgBITV, the Enforcement Body has the task of ensuring the right of the

the right of citizens to accessible websites and mobile applications vis-à-vis public

against public bodies in the state of Brandenburg.

The enforcement body checks the applicability of an enforcement procedure from a formal and content perspective and, in individual cases, orders a technical review of the

website or mobile application at the Monitoring Centre for Accessibility of Web and

Web and Application Technologies in the State of Brandenburg. The enforcement procedure is free of charge. No legal counsel needs to be involved.
